We are celebrating New year 2065 Together
We all Nepalese living in the Netherlands are celebrating New Year 2065 together in Amstelveen in april 12.

Why to be a member of NRN ?
Why to be a member of NRN ?
- To join hand in hand with the Global NRN Assotiation which has already started its motion towards bringing a Nepalese unity around the globe.
- To join heart with the Nepali "ama - buba" who have been offered "ashram" by NRN , at present in DEVGHAT and next and next in the future.
- To add a drop of our sweat along with thousands nepalis living outside the country which makes a river for the socio-economic development of our Motherland. At present NRN is supporting National Library, Building modern Pashupati Kiryaputrighar and many ideal projects like one village one project, agricultural project.
- To utilize our foreign skills in favor your Motherland in a purposeful way.
- To save a Nepali who is in danger in foreign land. Like Dolma Sherpa.That help may need for us or our nearest person too.

NRN in the Netherlands
Only 0.0065% of the Netherlands population is NRN (nepalese origin and nepalese).We 1060 registered nepalese are living in the netherlands among 16,404,282 people in this country.
Facts:
Total Nepalese Living in the Nehterlands : 1060
First Generation : 925 ( 657 men, 268 women )
Second Generation :135
People who live alone (single) :530
Living together (family):249
Single Parents:9
Other members in the family : 64
In institutional family : 4
Nepalese with Nepalese Nationality till 2007 : 602
*We can also expect may be one/two hundred non-registered nepalese in NL.

Welcome in the NAMASTE NEPAL EVENEMENT
All NRN and our foreign friends are heartly welcome in the NAMASTE NEPAL EVENEMENT(Visit and get yourself new experience of your Nepal in Amstelveen.)
In Co-ordination with Embassy of Nepal, Non Resident Nepali Assotiation , Nepal Development Academy and Nepal Samaj Netherland are going to organize this festival .
Film and Documentaries, muzick , Nepali Danse and Nepali fashion shows, discussion over different issues and presentations including introduction and information sessions about Nepal are main programs of that day.
This festival is on the occasion of Nepalese New year 2065. You will fully enjoy all programs including delicious nepalese dinner !
Have you passion to wait to know program detail ? Then you have to wait till first/ second week of march.

Send Home A Friend ...
NRN is supporting to the Ministry of Tourism & Civil Avation, Government of Nepal and Nepal Tourism Board to promote this campaign " Send Home A Friend & Nepal For All Season". We have got invitation to participate in the campaign in March 8, in Berlin Germany. Lets support to make it success from our side what can we do. Lets send at least one of our foreign friends to Nepal . That will be the direct support to our motherland.

Hopeful atmosphere has created for the election
By fulfilling some crucial demands of United Democratic Madhesi Forum the Seven Party Government of Nepal has lead the country finally to the most hopeful atmosphere.
To hear such news that the ongoing unrest in Nepal change to peace, we people who lives abroad also feel very cool; peace. The main points in the agreement between government and agitating madhesi parties are :
*Nepal will be a federal republican democratic state by accepting the wish of the Madhesi people for an autonomous Madhes state and wish of people of other regions for a autonomous state with federal structure. There will be distinct power sharing between the centre and the region in the federal structure on the basis of list. The regions will have complete autonomy and authority. The elected Constituent Assembly will devise a way to apply the formation of such states and the rights attributed to the region and the centre while keeping national sovereignty, unity and integrity intact.
*The entry of Madhesi and other groups into the Nepal Army will be ensured to give the army a national and inclusive structure.
Those two points are real achievements of the present struggle by the Madhesi Parties.
Lets hope, every Nepali whereever he/she lives terai ,pahad or himal and whatever his/her religion and cast is, get the every equal rights from the state.
This is the real time to support for the upcoming constituent assembly election which is going to be held in April 10, 2008.
